GALVIN for men was founded in 1978, in Mullingar, Ireland and it still remains a Galvin family owned and operated business today. Over the years our retail space has changed, but our ethos has remained the same since day one. We believe in creating a retail environment that supports exceptional customer service, attention to detail and the highest quality products, all to deliver the best possible shopping experience for our customers.
People are at the heart of everything we do and every decision we make. We are lucky to work with a very strong and dedicated team. Customer service is one of the most important strengths when competing in an ever-changing global retail environment and our collective goal is exploring and uncovering ways in which we can develop and deliver the very best experience to our customers.
Our store on 53 Oliver Plunkett Street, Mullingar, includes over 5000 square feet of retail space dedicated to showcasing the very best in quality men’s fashion products and brands from around the world. We work tirelessly in presenting these brands and products in-store, in our windows displays and on our online marketing channels.
We work very hard each season in selecting and sourcing brands and products that are of the highest quality; for their craftsmanship; fabric composition & design qualities and of course products that we feel our customers will find interesting. We work to indentify trends & research products in clothing, footwear, accessories and gifting to complete our seasonal collections.
Our commitment at this point is to help with and be a voice for the green revolution within the fashion industry that is undoubtedly underway. We are fully supportive of the positive trends that we are seeing, and support this by stocking a selection of the best genuine and certified sustainable brands that we showcase via our Eco Edit and through in-store and social promotion of these brands and products. We also have developed our own in house sustainable basics brand, STÓR, which is the only fully certified and audited sustainable Irish clothing brand of it’s kind.
The next step in the GALVIN story is ecommerce and in creating our digital identity. Galvinformen.com was created through a necessity in trying times during the COVID19 pandemic of 2020, but it has evolved into a project of passion and a commitment for the future to continue in our ethos of delivering exceptional customer service, attention to detail and the highest quality products and creating the best possible shopping experience to our customers both digitally and online via www.galvinformen.com.
